There is no guided tour here, but a quiz and fun puzzles to practice French and progress on an unusual journey.

Want to practice your French in a friendly, typically French atmosphere? Join us for 2 hours of relaxation in the fresh air on a picturesque pétanque court in the heart of Paris.

 

No need to know pétanque or have a great level of French (A2 level recommended): come and play, chat, and experience a 100% French moment!

 

On the program:

 

- Presentation of the rules of the game in French

- Friendly game or small tournament

- Spontaneous conversation with 2 native teachers

- Small snack or aperitif (depending on the schedule) shared in a good mood!

Immerse yourself in the 19th-century atmosphere of Paris's covered passageways! Discover their architectural and commercial highlights, including art galleries, period and unusual boutiques, and trendy cafés. Along the way, we'll pass by the magnificent oval hall of the Bibliothèque Nationale Richelieu before ending in style under the arcades of the peaceful Palais Royal garden.

 

The level of French is adapted to the level of the participants.

 

Beginner levels: simple vocabulary, useful expressions, accessible cultural discovery.

 

Intermediate/advanced levels: readings of literary excerpts, historical elements, specific vocabulary.

What could be more bucolic than a stroll in the Jardin des Plantes in Paris?

We will discover the different parts of this garden located within the Museum of Natural History in Paris.

​

The tour includes some historical information and a vocabulary and idiom quiz.

We will end this relaxing interlude with a mint tea in the magnificent café of the Grand Mosque of Paris.

These walks are neither guided tours nor French or drawing classes. The goal is simple: to discover a Parisian location and use drawing as a conversation tool in French.

No need to know how to draw, just enjoy the practice and communicate in French!

The activity is accessible to all levels, in drawing as in French (level A1 recommended).

A small handmade notebook is offered to you, and the drawing materials are ready

Walks designed to make the works — and the visitors — speak in French.

Where? In a free national museum chosen for its atmosphere and accessible permanent collection: Musée du Petit Palais, Musée d’Art Moderne de Paris, etc.

Before the visit : presentation, distribution of materials and useful vocabulary for talking about the works.

During the visit (approximately 1.5 hours ): free visit and spontaneous discussions in French in front of the works.

End of visit : sharing your drawings, description of your favorite works, impressions and discussions.

 

The activity combines creative writing in French, drawing and exchange in French.
