If you are looking for a school where your child can continue to practice their language or simply take exams in their language, here is a non-exhaustive list of private and public schools available in Paris and its region.
Although English remains the most accessible language, some schools or institutions offer other languages such as German, Spanish, Russian, Chinese, Swedish or others.
In some schools, the curriculum will be bilingual to optimize French and the chosen language, while others will be entirely in English.
This will allow students to take the French Baccalaureate or the IGCSEs required for entry into English schools, the IB program which opens doors to international universities, or the dual diploma which allows entry into American universities. Some schools, like the British School, are simply English schools located in France.
Another thing to consider is, of course, the price! As a reminder, public education is free, whether it's preschool (3-5 years old), primary school (6-10 years old), middle school (11-14 years old), high school (15-18 years old), or even university (18 years and older).
